Amazon Cargo Plane Crashes Outside Miami Airport After Landing
A Boeing 767 cargo plane operated by Amazon crashed on a road outside Miami International Airport on Sunday, September 6, 2026. The incident occurred after the plane had landed in Miami from San Juan, Puerto Rico.
Footage obtained by NBC 6 showed the massive cargo plane askew across the roadway, with huge clouds of black smoke billowing up from the wreckage. Flames were also seen burning along the fuselage.
The scene was chaotic, with people heard saying 'Oh my God!' in the background as the wreck burned. Despite the severity of the crash, the plane appeared to be largely intact where it lay on the road.
