Amazon CFO Exercises RSUs, Sells 6,172 Shares Under Pre-Arranged Trading Plan

Amazon's (NASDAQ: AMZN) Chief Financial Officer Brian T. Olsavsky exercised 15,430 restricted stock unit awards and sold 6,172 shares of common stock on August 21, 2026, under a pre-arranged trading plan.

The RSU awards converted into common stock at no cost to the CFO, with 9,900 shares vesting in May and August 2027. Olsavsky adopted the Rule 10b5-1 trading plan on May 14, 2026, allowing him to sell shares without violating insider trading regulations.

The sale price of $260.31 per share generated approximately $1.61 million in gross proceeds for Olsavsky. The CFO still holds indirect ownership of 1,627.979 Amazon common stock shares through an Amazon.com 401(k) plan account.
