Amazon.com Becomes Largest Holding for Alua Capital
Amazon.com, Inc. (NASDAQ:AMZN) is one of the largest holdings in Alua Capital Management LP's portfolio, making up about 12.6% of their investments. In the first quarter, Alua Capital raised its position in Amazon shares by 16.2%, purchasing an additional 95,800 shares during the period. This brings their total holding to 685,900 shares, valued at $142,852,000.
Alua Capital is not alone in increasing its stake in Amazon. Other large investors such as Gryphon Financial Partners LLC and First Citizens Bank & Trust Co. also grew their holdings in Amazon during the first quarter. Arrowstreet Capital Limited Partnership boosted its position by 21% during the fourth quarter, while Narwhal Capital Management lifted its stake by 2.3%
Amazon's recent earnings report exceeded analyst expectations, with revenue of $200.61 billion, up 19.6% year over year. The company has also raised its 2026 capital-expenditure outlook to approximately $220 billion and plans to expand data-center capacity.
