A disturbing incident has been reported in California involving an Amazon delivery driver allegedly assaulting a 71-year-old man at an ARCO gas station in Elk Grove. According to attorney Tony Buzbee, the elderly man had stopped to use the restroom and buy a soft drink when the driver became upset, believing the older man had taken his parking space.

The surveillance video shared by Buzbee shows the driver entering the store behind the elderly customer, making repeated threats and screaming 'Imma beat your ass' at the older man while he walks toward the checkout counter. Moments later, the driver strikes the 71-year-old from behind, causing him to fall forward and land face-first on the floor near the checkout counter.

The driver was later arrested and charged with felony battery, elder abuse, and other offenses. Buzbee has filed a civil lawsuit in Sacramento County, alleging that Amazon failed to properly screen and train the delivery driver before placing him on delivery routes.
