Amazon Driver Caught Flinging Package Onto Porch in Infuriating Delivery Blunder
A delivery driver's carelessness has been caught on camera as they flung a customer's package onto their porch in Florida, raising concerns about Amazon's third-party delivery services.
Nathan Pekas, the homeowner, shared footage from his Ring doorbell camera showing the driver approaching his home, hurling the package onto the concrete porch. The driver then took a photo as proof of delivery and walked away without placing the package at the front door.
The package landed with a loud thud on the porch before the driver snapped the photo. Pekas also shared a photo showing damage to one corner of the box, suggesting that the contents may have been compromised during transport.
Amazon has confirmed it is investigating the incident and stated that the video does not reflect the standards it expects from its third-party delivery companies.
