Amazon Driver Dies in Delivery Vehicle in Florida

An Amazon delivery driver died in Lake County after being found unresponsive in her vehicle.

Deputies responded to the area of Clark Road in Fruitland Park around 7:30 p.m. on Monday, receiving a call about an Amazon delivery vehicle that had been running stationary for a long period of time.

The driver was taken to a hospital, where she was pronounced dead.

The cause of death is currently unclear and the sheriff’s office is continuing to investigate.
