Amazon Employee Dies After Collapsing at Work in Goodyear, Arizona
An Amazon employee has died in Goodyear, Arizona, after collapsing at work on Sunday morning.
The incident occurred around 9:30 a.m. at the Amazon OXR1 fulfillment center near Bullard Avenue and Van Buren, according to the Goodyear Police Department.
A 58-year-old man was pronounced dead at the scene after employees and emergency crews attempted to revive him.
The preliminary investigation did not show any suspicious or criminal activities, police said.
Amazon released a statement saying it is 'deeply saddened' by the employee's passing and is supporting his family and colleagues in Goodyear.
