Amazon, Estafeta Launch Air Cargo Operation in Nuevo Laredo

Nuevo Laredo's logistics hub is getting a boost from Estafeta and Amazon, who are teaming up to launch air cargo operations at the Nuevo Laredo International Airport. The joint venture will utilize Boeing 737-400 cargo aircraft, starting soon.

This move aims to strengthen cargo connectivity in the region, increasing capacity for distributing goods from one of Mexico's main trade crossings with the United States.

According to Raúl Llamas Cervantes, president of the Tamaulipas Aerocluster, 'This is very good news for Nuevo Laredo and Tamaulipas because it will help strengthen logistics operations; it will also naturally boost air transportation services, which will soon open up new markets, increasing competitiveness and economic development.'
