Amazon Execs Unload $15M in Stock Amid Insider Selling Surge
Amazon's senior executives have sold over $15 million worth of company stock in a single day, sparking fresh scrutiny for the e-commerce giant.
The largest sale was made by CEO Andrew Jassy, who disposed of 20,000 shares for approximately $5.18 million.
Other top executives also participated in the sales, including AWS chief Matthew Garman and Senior Vice President David Zapolsky, each selling millions of dollars worth of shares.
The transactions come during a month of heightened insider selling, with Jeff Bezos having disclosed plans to sell up to $4 billion of Amazon stock earlier in August.
