Amazon Expands Career Choice with Training in High-Demand Industries
Amazon is expanding its Career Choice employee benefit to include training in high-demand industries. The program, which will open for enrolment in October 2026, aims to help employees develop skills for new career paths or move into different fields.
The expanded offering includes training in clean energy, cybersecurity, advanced manufacturing, semiconductors, education, and healthcare. Employees who meet the relevant prerequisites will be able to use the Career Choice benefit for these newly introduced programs.
The initiative is not restricted to preparing workers for roles within Amazon, with the benefit designed to support skills that can be used for employment elsewhere. The inclusion of eligible corporate employees widens access to the program as demand for reskilling extends beyond operational and frontline roles.
