Amazon Expands Drone Delivery Reach Sixfold to Nearly 500 Cities
Amazon is rapidly expanding its drone delivery capabilities, announcing that it will soon launch Prime Air in nearly 500 cities and towns across the US by the end of 2026.
This represents a sixfold increase from the company's current footprint, with drone deliveries currently available in parts of seven states, including Arizona, Florida, Kansas, Louisiana, Michigan, Nebraska, and Texas.
The expansion will bring speedy drone delivery to tens of millions of US customers as Amazon battles for fast shipping supremacy against rivals like Walmart and DoorDash.
