Amazon Expands Drone Delivery Service to 500 U.S. Cities by End of 2026
Amazon is expanding its Prime Air drone delivery service to nearly 500 U.S. cities and towns by the end of 2026, a sixfold increase from its current footprint.
The expansion would give tens of millions more customers access to drone deliveries, with eligible shoppers able to order products such as groceries, electronics, medications, and household essentials in as fast as 30 minutes.
Amazon currently operates Prime Air from 11 delivery sites serving metro areas including Phoenix, Tampa, and Kansas City, but service will soon launch in the Chicago, Cleveland, Atlanta, Boise, and Syracuse metro areas.
