Amazon Expands Same-Day Delivery to Central Kentucky with New Facility

Amazon has announced plans to build a new Same-Day Delivery facility in Lexington, Kentucky. The site will cover an area of 224,000 square feet and is expected to launch in 2027. Once operational, Prime members in central Kentucky will have access to one- and three-hour delivery on millions of everyday items, fresh groceries, and prescription medications.

The new facility is projected to create 150 full- and part-time jobs with an average starting salary of $23 per hour. This development comes as Amazon continues to expand its same-day delivery services across the United States.

Amazon's investment in Lexington will not only bring convenience to local Prime members but also contribute to the city's economy through job creation.
