Amazon: Hedge Funds Split as Mega-Cap Tech Stocks See Rotation
Hedge funds are showing sharply different views on Amazon after its strong second-quarter earnings report.
Viking Global and Duquesne increased their stakes in the e-commerce giant, while Renaissance Technologies added a significant amount of shares.
However, not all big investors are on board. Bridgewater reduced its holdings by more than half, and Pershing Square cut its stake to 8.6 million shares from 11.5 million.
This divergence in views highlights the varying opinions on Amazon's valuation and growth prospects.
