Amazon India Creates 160,000 Seasonal Jobs for Festive Season

Amazon India has announced that it has created over 160,000 seasonal work opportunities across its operations network in preparation for the upcoming festive season. These jobs span 400 cities nationwide and are expected to meet the anticipated surge in customer demand during the period.

The company will provide training to these new associates, who will join Amazon's existing pan-India operations network helping with picking, packing, shipping, and delivering customer orders.

Abhinav Singh, Vice President of Operations at Amazon India, noted that many of these seasonal workers continue their journey with the company beyond the festive period.
