Amazon Joins Google's YouTube Shopping Affiliate Program for US Creators
Google has expanded its YouTube Shopping Affiliate Program to include Amazon, giving eligible US creators the opportunity to earn money from affiliate links. To participate, creators must meet specific criteria, including being enrolled in the YouTube Partner Program and having an active account with either the Amazon Influencer Program or Amazon Associates Program.
Once these conditions are met, creators can link their YouTube channel to their Amazon affiliate account, allowing them to tag Amazon products in their content. Google provides instructions on how to do this through the product picker tool in YouTube Studio.
The expansion of the program means that creators can now monetize their content by tagging Amazon products, making it easier for viewers to buy products they see in videos or livestreams.
