Amazon Joins Nvidia-Led Alliance for Agentic Cybersecurity Guidelines
Nvidia's Open Secure AI Alliance has added Amazon to its growing roster of members. The alliance, led by Nvidia, aims to address cybersecurity risks tied to agentic AI through a new framework called Shared AI Findings Exchange (SAFE). SAFE proposes collecting and analyzing AI security incidents, notifying affected organizations, identifying repeated control failures, and publishing evidence-based recommendations.
The alliance has grown significantly since its launch last month, with over 120 members now on board. Members have contributed open-source tools addressing different parts of AI agent security. For example, Nvidia's contribution is the Nvidia Labs Object-Oriented Agent (NOOA) research harness, designed to make agent behavior easier to test, trace, audit, and govern.
American technology giant Amazon has joined the alliance with its contributions, including Strands Agents, an open-source toolkit for building AI agents, and Cedar, an open-source authorization language. However, AMZN stock fell nearly 2% in morning trade amid reports of antitrust allegations against Amazon.
