According to sources, Amazon posted Mutiny on Prime Video on August 19, allowing subscribers to watch it for a few hours before taking it down.

Lionsgate spent millions acquiring and marketing Mutiny, making the accidental leak a multimillion-dollar problem. An international buyer described the situation as 'an unprecedented mess' and stated that buyers will expect Amazon to compensate them financially.
