Amazon MGM Develops Squishmallows Feature Film with Producer Beau Flynn

A new feature film based on the popular Squishmallows brand is in development at Amazon MGM, with licensing rights and co-production handled by creator Jazwares.

The studio has partnered with producer Beau Flynn ('Moana', 'Hello Kitty') to create a global-facing, four-quadrant event. The type of film - whether animated, live-action, or hybrid - remains unknown at this time.

Squishmallows has grown into a billion-dollar venture since its launch in 2017, with over 3,000 original characters and sales of two toys per second across 60 countries.
