A former production assistant on Amazon MGM Studios' series 'Criminal' has filed a lawsuit against the studio and Big Indie Pictures, alleging a hostile work environment filled with sexual and racial harassment, religious discrimination, assault, and battery.

The plaintiff, Ijaaz Noohu, claims that comic writer and showrunner Ed Brubaker was responsible for creating this toxic atmosphere. The suit also alleges that Brubaker pointed a working firearm at Noohu and pulled the trigger.

Noohu is seeking unspecified damages in the lawsuit, which was filed on September 2, 2026.
