Amazon MGM Studios Sued Over 'Criminal' Showrunner's Alleged Hostile Work Environment

A production assistant on the Amazon MGM Studios series 'Criminal' has filed a lawsuit against the companies and showrunner Ed Brubaker, alleging a hostile work environment.

The lawsuit claims that Brubaker subjected the production assistant, Ijaaz Noohu, to repeated and pervasive sexual harassment, including comments about running his hands through Noohu's hair and joking about rape.

Noohu also alleges that Brubaker directed 'demeaning stereotypes' about curry and made comments invoking the 'Tiger Mom' trope.

The lawsuit further claims that Brubaker fired a functional firearm at Noohu's face in an incident witnessed by a senior producer, who ignored it.
