Amazon Prime Air Cargo Flight Overruns Runway at Miami International Airport
An Amazon Prime Air cargo flight overran a runway at Miami International Airport on September 6.
The incident occurred around 2 p.m. ET, when Prime Air Flight 7598 veered off the airport's diagonal runway and came to a stop at the northwest end.
As a result of the accident, all runways and taxiways were closed by 3 p.m. ET, prompting a ground stop until further notice.
The Federal Aviation Administration has announced that it will investigate the crash.
