Amazon Prime Air Cargo Jet Overruns Runway at Miami International Airport
A Boeing 767 cargo jet operated by Amazon Prime Air overran Runway 30 at Miami International Airport on Sunday, prompting a major emergency response.
The aircraft, identified as 21 Air Flight 7598, was arriving from San Juan, Puerto Rico, when it landed and then veered off the runway.
Heavy smoke and flames were reported around the aircraft, prompting dozens of units from Miami-Dade Fire Rescue to rush to the scene.
The FAA confirmed that the Boeing 767 overran the runway after landing, and the NTSB is gathering information about the incident.
