Amazon Prime Air Cargo Plane Crashes in Miami After Overshooting Runway
A Boeing 767-300 cargo plane operated by Amazon Prime Air's partner 21 Air overshot the runway at Miami International Airport (MIA) on February 22nd, around 2:00 p.m. The flight, number 7598, had departed from Luis Muñoz Marín International Airport in San Juan, Puerto Rico.
Newly released videos show the plane's devastating crash landing among vehicles outside the airport. The images provide a closer look at the consequences of the accident, revealing significant damage to the aircraft and several emergency vehicles operating around it.
The Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) confirmed that flight 7598 overshot the runway after landing, forcing the suspension of operations at Miami International Airport while emergency teams worked in the area. The agency will investigate the accident.
