Amazon Prime Air Crash: Pilot Warned Plane Was 'Too Fast'

The National Transportation Safety Board (NTSB) has released preliminary findings on the fatal Amazon Prime Air crash in Miami, which resulted in five deaths and five injuries.

A cockpit voice recording revealed that one of the pilots warned that the aircraft was 'too fast' as it approached the runway. The pilot made this warning approximately 1:42 minutes before the end of the recording.

The other pilot also commented on the plane's excessive speed throughout the remainder of the recording, but there was no consistent verbal response to these reminders.

The NTSB chair, Jennifer Homendy, had earlier stated that the plane overshot the runway by 1,300 feet and collided with two vehicles, including a van with seven occupants inside.
