Amazon Prime Air Plane Overruns Runway at Miami International Airport

An Amazon Prime Air cargo plane overran a runway at Miami International Airport on Sunday, prompting the closure of all runways and taxiways.

The incident occurred at around 2 p.m. ET (1800 GMT) when Prime Air Flight 7598 exceeded the diagonal runway's boundary and was disabled at the airport's northwest end, officials said.

No information on injuries or fatalities was immediately available, but the Federal Aviation Administration has announced that it will investigate the crash.
