Amazon has increased prices on its Echo and Kindle devices in Canada by up to 63%, affecting several products including Echo speakers, Kindles, Fire TV sticks, and eero mesh networks.

The price hike follows a similar adjustment in the United States, where Amazon had also implemented significant increases in memory and storage component costs.

According to an Amazon representative, the company had absorbed these cost escalations for an extended period before revising its pricing strategy.

Notably, the Fire TV Stick 4K Max experienced the most drastic change at 63%, while the Kindle Paperwhite saw a $95 increase, the largest dollar rise outside of the eero Pro 7 pack.
