Amazon Returns: Diablo 4 Roadmap Unveils New Class, Season, and Nintendo Switch Port
The Diablo 4 roadmap has been revealed at BlizzCon, and it's packed with exciting updates for fans of the action RPG series. One of the biggest announcements is that the Amazon class will be returning to the game in the first half of 2027, bringing a new combat style and tactical depth to the roster.
The Amazon's return marks a balance between introducing new archetypes and reviving classic ones. Fans were initially disappointed when the Warlock was introduced instead of the Amazon in Lord of Hatred earlier this year, but it seems that Blizzard is committed to giving players a mix of old and new.
In addition to the Amazon's return, Season 15 (Season of Hell's Legacy) will be arriving soon. This massive franchise-30th-anniversary celebration will feature iconic past enemies, legacy items, and encounters involving the Prime Evils themselves.
Blizzard also confirmed that Diablo IV: The Age of Hatred collection is heading to the Nintendo Switch 2, with playable demos available on the show floor and press center.
