Amazon Secures £4.25 Bn Through Sterling Bond Sale

Amazon has announced plans to secure £4.25 billion through a sterling-denominated bond sale, which will include four series of senior unsecured notes.

The offering includes £1.25 billion of 5.200% notes due in 2029, as well as £1 billion each of 5.550% notes due in 2032, 6.250% notes due in 2038 and 6.650% notes due in 2045.

The bonds will rank equally with Amazon's other senior unsecured debt and are expected to be listed on the Nasdaq Bond Exchange within 30 days of the original issue date.
