Amazon Sees Surge in Investor Interest Amid AI Expansion

Amazon.com, Inc. (NASDAQ:AMZN) has seen significant interest from various investors in recent quarters. Succession Financial Inc. recently disclosed that it had acquired a new position in Amazon's shares during the second quarter, purchasing 2,093 shares valued at approximately $499,000.

This represents about 0.5% of Succession Financial Inc.'s investment portfolio, making it the company's 18th largest holding. Other large investors have also shown interest in Amazon's stock, with Longfellow Investment Management Co. LLC acquiring a new stake and MilWealth Group LLC growing its existing stake by 79.0% during the fourth quarter.

Amazon has been expanding its AI capabilities through partnerships, including a major deal with Qualcomm to purchase up to $60 billion of AI data-center chips and related products over the long term. This agreement is expected to support AWS capacity expansion and reflects confidence in sustained AI demand.
