Amazon Slashes Nintendo eShop Gift Card Prices in Summer Sale

Nintendo Switch owners can now save on digital purchases thanks to an ongoing deal at Amazon. The retailer is offering a 15% discount on Nintendo eShop Gift Cards, bringing the price down from $10 to just $8.53. This offer is available exclusively for Prime members, but those who aren't yet signed up can take advantage of a 30-day free trial.

The deal allows buyers to purchase up to two gift cards per order, making it easy to grab one for yourself and another as a gift or to bank some extra credit for upcoming releases. While the discount may seem small at $1.47 off, it's not insignificant, especially considering that Nintendo eShop credit can be used on more than just full games.

Nintendo Switch Online memberships, in-game currency, downloadable content, and indie titles are all eligible for purchase with eShop credit. The deal is available now as part of Amazon's summer sales event and will likely last throughout the season.
