Amazon Slashes Price on MacBook Pro by $400

Amazon has discounted Apple's MacBook Pro with M5 Pro chip by $400 to $2,799, undercutting Apple's price hike and beating previous prices. The deal is available on Amazon and Best Buy until August 19th.

The discounted model features an 18-core CPU, a 20-core GPU, 24GB of RAM, and 2TB of storage. It was previously priced at $3,199 before Apple's price increase in June due to RAMageddon.

This is the second time Amazon has offered discounts on MacBook Pro models with M5 chips, following earlier deals on the M5 MacBook Air and MacBook Pro.
