Amazon's stock price has dropped following the company's decision to pause its operations with 21 Air, a Miami-based cargo carrier involved in a fatal plane crash over the weekend.

The incident occurred at Miami International Airport when the Boeing 767-300 freighter operated by Amazon's air logistics network, Amazon Air, overran the runway while landing and struck several vehicles on the ground, resulting in five fatalities.

According to an Amazon spokesperson, the company has been reviewing the circumstances surrounding the crash and supporting the ongoing investigation led by the National Transportation Safety Board (NTSB).

The aircraft involved was a 32-year-old Boeing 767-300 freighter that had spent over two decades flying as a passenger jet before being converted into a cargo plane in 2015.
