Amazon Stock Pulls Back from Resistance Zone, Key Level in Focus
Amazon's recent rally has hit a snag as the stock price pulled back from its strong recovery. The price had climbed to the $257-$258 resistance region before declining towards the $253-$253.50 area, where it is currently attempting to stabilize.
The key level in focus is around $256, which had previously been established as a sequence of higher highs by buyers. However, the latest decline has created a bearish change-of-character indication around this structure, suggesting that buyers are no longer in complete control of the short-term price action.
If Amazon can reclaim the $256 area and build back above the recent lower high, the current pullback could turn into another attempt at the $257-$258 resistance zone. On the other hand, continued weakness below the current price could bring the lower support areas back into focus.
