Amazon Targets 500 US Towns for Prime Air Drone Delivery

Amazon.com (AMZN) has announced plans to expand its Prime Air drone delivery service to nearly 500 U.S. towns and cities by the end of 2026.

The program targets suburban and urban communities with lightweight package delivery in as little as 30 minutes, including major metro areas.

This expansion will broaden Amazon's fulfillment and logistics offering and feed directly into its broader logistics network.

For investors, this move is part of a larger retail and services ecosystem, not a standalone delivery experiment.
