Amazon Teams Up with Games Workshop for Animated Warhammer 40,000 Show

Amazon MGM Studios has partnered with Blur Studios and Games Workshop to develop an animated TV show based on the sci-fi franchise, Warhammer 40,000. The new project will be a spinoff of the Secret Level episode, directed by Dave Wilson, who will also serve as co-creator for the animated show.

Henry Cavill, a well-known fan of the franchise and already involved in live-action adaptations, has been attached as an executive producer. This comes after Games Workshop's CEO Kevin Rountree confirmed Cavill's continued involvement in the project during a recent financial report.

The Secret Level anthology show featured various video game adaptations, including one based on Warhammer 40K. Blur Studios, co-founded by Tim Miller, helped produce the episode and will also be involved in the animated series as an executive producer. The new adaptation is expected to be a significant addition to the Warhammer 40,000 franchise.
