Amazon Teamsters Launch One-Day Strike Over Refusal to Bargain
Amazon Teamsters at the DJT6 facility in Riverside, California, one of Amazon's largest warehouses, launched a one-day unfair labor practice strike on a single day. The workers are members of Teamsters Local 1932 and walked off the job to protest Amazon's refusal to recognize their union and bargain with them over better working conditions.
The DJT6 warehouse was organized by Teamsters Local 1932 in December 2025, but Amazon has ignored federal labor law requiring it to recognize the union. Instead, the company retaliated against workers who advocated for safer working conditions, including unjustly terminating a union leader at the facility.
Randy Korgan, Director of the Teamsters Amazon Division and Secretary-Treasurer of Local 1932, said that Amazon 'thinks it can trample workers' rights with no consequences, but Amazon Teamsters at DJT6 are proving them wrong.'
