The Guyana Amazon Warriors successfully defended their Global Super League title by defeating San Francisco Unicorns by six runs in the final at Providence Stadium in Guyana on Saturday.

The Amazon Warriors struggled to build a strong total, being bowled out for 85 runs with their innings reduced to just 29 for eight at one stage. However, they managed to defend the modest target as San Francisco Unicorns were bowled out for 79 with nine balls remaining.

This win marks the second consecutive year that Guyana Amazon Warriors have won the Global Super League title, having previously defeated Rangpur Riders by 32 runs in the 2025 final to claim their first championship. Afghan all-rounder Mohammad Nabi played a key role for the Amazon Warriors, taking three wickets in the final.
