Amazon Worker Dies After Medical Emergency in North Haven

A tragic incident occurred at an Amazon fulfillment center in North Haven, Connecticut. A 50-year-old worker suffered a medical emergency and was transported to Yale New Haven Hospital on September 10, 2026. The patient was later declared dead.

North Haven Police Chief Andrew Stavrides stated that there is no indication of foul play, but did not provide further details about the death. North Haven Fire Chief Paul Januszewski said crews were called to the facility for a report of a 50-year-old man in cardiac arrest.

The Amazon spokesperson, Louie Tran, expressed condolences to the family and team members affected by this incident. 'We're deeply saddened by the passing of our colleague in what appears to be a personal health issue,' he said.
