Amazon's Prime Big Deal Days Sale Kicks Off Holiday Shopping Season
Amazon has announced its Prime Big Deal Days sale for this October, marking the unofficial kickoff to the holiday shopping season. The two-day event will take place from Tuesday, Oct. 6, through Wednesday, Oct. 7, offering exclusive deals to Amazon Prime members.
The sale is a continuation of Amazon's annual fall Prime event, which started as the Prime Early Access Sale in 2022 and was later renamed Prime Big Deal Days in 2023. During this period, shoppers can expect significant discounts on various products, including Amazon devices like Kindle e-readers, Fire TVs, and Echo smart speakers.
Prime Big Deal Days typically features deals on popular brands such as Apple, Bissell, Bose, Dyson, Eufy, Keurig, KitchenAid, Lego, Ninja, Samsung, Shark, and Sony. The sale is expected to be especially popular this year due to the ongoing RAM shortage, which has led to increased prices across the market.
While Amazon Prime membership is required to participate in the sale, those on a trial membership are still eligible for the deals. For new members, the cost of joining Prime is $14.99 per month or $139 per year, with discounts available for students and young adults through the Prime for Young Adults program.
