Amazon's Second Chance Deal Days Offer Up to 30% Discounts on Refurbished Items

Amazon has announced its Second Chance Deal Days event, offering customers discounts of up to 30% on refurbished and returned items. The sale runs from September 1 to 10 in the UK, Germany, France, Italy, and Spain, and from August 31 to September 6 in Mexico and Brazil.

The company has stated that it has over 60 million returned and refurbished items in Europe, covering almost every major product category. Shoppers can find thousands of products marked 'good condition' at discounted prices, with brands such as Apple, Sony, Samsung, Beats, and LEGO participating.

In addition to electronics, Amazon is also offering discounts on used fashion items through its Luxury platform. The company has partnered with Luxclusif to offer genuine pre-owned bags and accessories from top designers.

Amazon's resale operations have seen significant growth in recent years, with customers in Europe saving €380 million last year by buying second-hand products. The company has also reported that second-hand sales across Europe have surpassed €2 billion, with refurbished items being sold at an average of 20% less than their new counterparts.
