AMD Tackles Nvidia in AI Market with Helios APU and Hyperscaler Deals
AMD is shifting its focus to the Helios APU and deals with hyperscalers in an attempt to compete with Nvidia's dominance in AI chips. The company has been working on the Helios APU, which combines a CPU and GPU into a single chip, to provide improved performance for artificial intelligence (AI) workloads.
In addition to its own product line, AMD is also pursuing deals with hyperscalers, such as cloud service providers like Amazon Web Services (AWS) and Microsoft Azure. These partnerships aim to bring the company's AI capabilities to a wider range of customers.
