American Airlines has introduced its new Flagship Suite on one of its retrofitted Boeing B777-300ER aircraft, which will serve the Sydney-Los Angeles route. The upgraded configuration includes 144 premium seats, with 70 Flagship Suites featuring privacy doors and chaise lounge seating positions.

The Flagship Suite replaces Flagship First on the B777-300ER fleet, which is being retrofitted with this new configuration. This means that from November 19th, passengers will no longer be able to purchase Flagship First on these aircraft.

American's Boeing B777-300ER aircraft are being upgraded with free high-speed Wi-Fi and next-gen inflight entertainment as part of the airline's connectivity push. The airline is also introducing Starlink Wi-Fi on its narrowbody aircraft from 2027.

The new Flagship Suite is designed for premium leisure and corporate clients flying the Sydney-US route, offering more Business and Premium Economy seats than any US carrier.
