American Airlines Unveils Luxury Retrofitted Boeing 777-300ER
American Airlines has unveiled its first retrofitted Boeing 777-300ER aircraft, featuring the most premium seats on any US carrier. The updated plane includes 70 Flagship Suite seats with privacy doors and chaise lounge seating positions, as well as 44 Premium Economy seats with sculpted headrests and adjustable calf-rests.
The retrofit work also brought new cabin interiors to match those of American Airlines' Boeing 787-9 and Airbus A321XLR aircraft. Customers in all classes can enjoy luxury textures, enhanced lighting, and other comforts.
Flagship Suite customers will benefit from priority airport services and access to the Flagship lounge, where they can enjoy wine pairings and chef-curated dishes. They'll also receive premium amenity kits and luxury bedding during their flight.
The retrofit fleet of 20 Boeing 777-300ERs is expected to be rolled out on popular long-haul routes, including London, Tokyo, Sao Paulo, Buenos Aires, and Sydney.
