American Airlines Unveils Refurbished Boeing 777-300ER with Flagship Suite Seats
American Airlines has unveiled its refurbished Boeing 777-300ER, featuring the new Flagship Suite business-class seat and a larger premium footprint. The revamped aircraft marks the airline's most significant premium cabin overhaul in over a decade, aiming to compete with industry rivals that have invested heavily in front-cabin amenities.
The Flagship Suite boasts a fully enclosed design with a privacy door, chaise-lounge seating mode, wireless charging, and expanded personal storage. The suites are arranged to provide direct aisle access for every passenger, a feature now standard among premium international carriers.
American has also introduced a dedicated Premium Economy section with updated seats and retained the Main Cabin Extra offering for travelers seeking extra legroom without upgrading to premium economy. The refurbished jet features 70 Flagship Suite business-class seats and 44 Premium Economy seats, with the Main Cabin reduced accordingly.
