American Express Gold Card Offers Dining Credits and Travel Perks
The American Express Gold Card offers a range of rewards and benefits for cardholders who dine out, travel, or use specific services.
New cardholders can earn up to 100,000 points after spending $8,000 in the first year, with annual fees set at $325.
Cardholders receive 4X points on purchases at restaurants and US supermarkets, as well as 5X points on prepaid hotel stays booked through Amex Travel.
In addition to these rewards, cardholders can also earn credits for Uber, Resy, and Dunkin', with $120 in Uber Cash, $100 in Resy credit, and $84 in Dunkin' credit available annually. However, enrollment is required for most of these benefits.
The card's annual fee is waived for foreign transactions, but non-US residents receive fewer usable benefits despite paying the same fee.
