American Unveils Most Premium-Heavy US Airline Aircraft
American Airlines has unveiled its first retrofitted Boeing 777-300ER aircraft, featuring an unprecedented number of premium seats. The new cabin boasts 144 premium seats, making it the most premium-heavy aircraft operated by any U.S. airline.
The centerpiece of the aircraft is the Flagship Suite cabin, comprising 70 suites with privacy doors, expanded personal storage, and a chaise lounge seating position. Behind it sit 44 redesigned Premium Economy seats with sculpted headrests, adjustable calf and foot rests, wireless charging, water bottle storage, and USB-C and AC power.
American's chief commercial officer, Nat Pieper, said, 'Our Flagship aircraft represents the next evolution of premium travel at American.
