Amerijet Boeing 767-300F Suffers Fuselage Damage in Hard Landing at La Aurora International Airport

Amerijet International's Boeing 767-300F aircraft, registration N373CM, sustained fuselage damage after a hard landing at Guatemala City's La Aurora International Airport (GUA) on September 6.

The flight, operating as M6 8743, was diverted from its original route between Miami and San Juan due to an unknown reason.

After two hours and 11 minutes of flying, the plane landed on Runway 02/20 at La Aurora International Airport, striking the ground and causing a visible crease and buckle on the upper forward fuselage.

The aircraft remains grounded in Guatemala while the damage is assessed. Amerijet did not immediately respond to Simple Flying's request for comment.
