Amex and Capital One Lounges Tie for Top Spot in JD Power Survey
A recent JD Power survey has ranked American Express Centurion and Capital One lounges as tied for first in terms of satisfaction among US airport lounges.
The study, which polled 2,991 travelers who visited US airport lounges between April and June, found that top-ranked lounges scored an average of 771 points on a 1,000-point scale.
Crowded terminals were cited as a major issue by nearly half of users, with overcrowding slashing satisfaction scores by over 240 points. Complimentary food and beverage was the top benefit cited by respondents, with 39% citing terminal pricing as their reason for visiting the lounge.
