Amex Elevates Referral Bonuses for Select Cardholders

American Express is offering select Platinum and Gold cardholders the opportunity to earn elevated referral bonuses of up to 45,000 Membership Rewards points per approved referral.

This offer exceeds the usual 10,000 to 15,000 points typically available for referrals. Eligible Platinum cardholders may receive 45,000 points, while Gold cardholders can earn 40,000 points per referral.

Each cardholder can refer up to five times annually, and referred applicants do not have to choose the same card as the referrer. They can select any available Amex card via the referral link and still trigger the bonus for the referrer.
